About the Author

As a fan of romantic fiction, I have always been drawn to the alpha-male archetype. However, I find that series romance often restricts the depth of the characters’ emotions, and I prefer to delve into a male character’s thoughts and feelings.

Sometimes, even I am surprised by what comes out! My stories could be classified as soft erotica, featuring a heterosexual couple committed to each other. I believe that true love begins with a strong physical attraction, which is why my stories are sexually explicit and aim to satisfy readers.

Nevertheless, my characters always end up in a monogamous and loving relationship. I hope my readers enjoy my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.

Editoral Review

An Eye for an Eye: Zach & Katie’s Story by Lynda Chance is a thrilling and steamy addition to the contemporary romance genre. Chance is a seasoned author in the genre, and her latest book does not disappoint.

With its fast-paced plot, complex characters, and intense love story, An Eye for an Eye is a must-read for fans of the genre. The story follows the lives of Zach and Katie, two individuals who were once deeply in love but were forcibly separated by an act of violence.

Years later, Zach has become a successful businessman, while Katie is a single mother trying to rebuild her life. When they are unexpectedly reunited, they are forced to confront their painful past and the feelings they still have for each other.

Chance’s writing style is captivating, with a good mix of dialogue and exposition that keeps the story moving forward. The pacing is excellent, with just the right balance of action and introspection.

The author also does an excellent job of developing the characters, allowing the reader to understand their motivations and connect with them emotionally. The themes of forgiveness, redemption, and second chances are woven expertly through the plot.

However, there are times when the story feels a little melodramatic, which may not appeal to all readers. Additionally, some of the plot twists feel contrived, taking away from the overall believability of the story.

Despite these minor flaws, An Eye for an Eye is a standout example in the genre, showcasing Chance’s talent and expertise. Fans of contemporary romance will enjoy this book and will undoubtedly be rooting for Zach and Katie’s love story from beginning to end.

Overall, An Eye for an Eye: Zach & Katie’s Story is a must-read for fans of the genre. It boasts excellent writing, an engaging plot, and unforgettable characters.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well-crafted contemporary romance. I rate it 4 out of 5 stars.
