Christie Craig is a New York Times bestselling author who has been noted for her remarkable storytelling skills and has won several awards for her writing.

Set in the small town of Bramble, Texas, the story follows the life of Marti Jenkins, who has moved to Bramble to start a new life after a traumatic experience. However, things take a turn for the worse when Marti is framed for murder, and the only person who can help her clear her name is her new neighbor Sheriff Cody Berringer.

The characters in this novel are well-developed and relatable, and the setting is beautifully described with vivid imagery that makes readers feel like they are living in the town of Bramble themselves. The conflicts in the novel are realistic and the pacing is excellent, which keeps the story moving forward without any dull moments.

One of the notable strengths of this novel is its well-placed humor that adds a light touch to an otherwise intense plot. Christie Craig has a knack for striking the perfect balance between suspenseful drama and comedic relief, which makes for a truly enjoyable read.

However, the plot of the novel is somewhat predictable and lacks some of the unexpected twists and turns that readers might expect from a romantic suspense novel. Additionally, some readers may find the romance between Marti and Cody to be a bit clichd and unrealistic.

Overall, Blame It On Texas is a solid addition to the romantic suspense genre, and a recommended read for fans of this type of novel. Christie Craig demonstrates her mastery of storytelling and characters in this book, and it is sure to appeal to readers who enjoy a good mix of drama, humor, and romance.
