About the Author

For half a decade, Liliana Hart taught music in public schools, shaping the minds of America’s future while simultaneously breaking up backstage affairs and catching kids smoking in restrooms (her Addison Holmes Mystery Series may or may not be loosely based on these experiences).

After leaving teaching, Liliana found herself with newfound free time and a love for romance novels. When she ran out of books to read, she decided to write her own, resulting in a 150,000 word thriller about a virgin assassin.

While it didn’t become the instant hit she expected, Liliana persevered and eventually found her footing, realizing that losing one’s virginity wasn’t as romantic as it seemed. Now, all of her books include some sort of suspense, humor, and steamy romance.

Liliana is an award-winning author, having won The Daphne Du Maurier, The Suzannah, The Linda Howard Award of Excellence, The Maggie, and many others. She is affiliated with the Romance Writers of America and the Mystery Writers of America.

When she’s not writing, Liliana loves cooking, reading, playing Internet Boggle, kickboxing, and watching Bones. She shares a big house in Texas with a couple of cats and loves receiving emails from her readers.

The story is told from multiple points of view, which adds to the tension and suspense of the novel. The main character is Cade, a young woman who is trying to escape from her past and start a new life.

Hart’s writing style is engaging and easy to read, and the characters are well-developed and interesting. The setting of the novel is also well-crafted, and readers will feel like they are in a small town in Texas.

One of the strengths of the book is the character development. Cade is a complex character, and readers will be drawn to her story.

She is strong and resourceful, but also vulnerable, and readers will root for her as she tries to outrun her past. The other characters in the book are also well-written and add depth to the story.
