About the Author

From a young age, Brittney Sahin had a passion for writing and dreamed of becoming a published author before turning 18. Though her academic pursuits and later teaching career put a pause on her aspirations, she never let go of her imagination and love for writing.

It was thanks to her students that Brittney finally decided to take the leap and pursue her dreams. Leaving her hometown of Upstate New York behind, she returned to her roots in Charlotte, North Carolina, and began writing once again.

Her hard work paid off in 2015 when she published her first novel, Silenced Memories. When she’s not busy working on upcoming novels, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.

As a proud mother of two boys, she also has a passion for suspenseful novels, coffee, and the great outdoors.

Editoral Review

Chasing the Knight by Brittney Sahin is a thrilling addition to the romantic suspense genre. Published on February 5, 2020, Sahin’s style effectively captures the essence of danger and passion that is characteristic of the genre.

The novel follows the protagonist, Emma, as she embarks on a mission to save her sister from the clutches of a merciless criminal gang. Along the way, she crosses paths with a charming and enigmatic figure, Jordan, who turns out to be more than just a regular passerby.

Together, they must navigate a dangerous world of crime and deception to save Emma’s sister and unravel the secrets of their past. Sahin does an excellent job of building a complex and intriguing world filled with vivid, well-developed characters.

Each character has their own unique backstory and motivations, which are skillfully interwoven into the plot. Emma is a strong, determined protagonist who readers will undoubtedly root for, and Jordan is a fascinating character with a tortured past that slowly unfolds as the story progresses.

The pacing of the novel is well executed, with plenty of action and suspense that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. The romantic elements of the novel are engaging, with Sahin developing the relationship between Emma and Jordan with nuance and care.

Sahin’s writing is evocative, with beautiful descriptions that capture the vivid setting and the intense emotions of the characters. Overall, the quality of writing in Chasing the Knight is exceptional, with Sahin expertly crafting a story that will resonate with fans of the genre.

While Chasing the Knight does include some familiar tropes of the romantic suspense genre, such as a damsel in distress and an enigmatic love interest, Sahin manages to subvert these clichs and create something fresh and exciting. The only minor issue is that some of the twists and turns of the plot may feel predictable to readers who are familiar with the genre.

That being said, Chasing the Knight is still a compelling and well-crafted novel that will engage readers from beginning to end. The novel’s themes of redemption, trust, and self-discovery give it a deeper significance that goes beyond the typical thrills of the genre.

In conclusion, Chasing the Knight by Brittney Sahin is a must-read for fans of the romantic suspense genre. It is an expertly crafted novel filled with intrigue, passion, and adventure.

While it may not be groundbreaking in its execution of the genre, it is an example of the genre done right. I highly recommend this novel to anyone looking for a thrilling and engaging read.
