Kennedy is a brilliant and ambitious political strategist who has to make hard choices when her loyalties are tested. Meanwhile, Bryce is a well-connected congressman who hides a dark secret about his past that could ruin his career.
The novel is fast-paced and suspenseful, with plenty of twists and turns that keep the reader engaged. McAvoy’s writing style is crisp and straightforward, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for dialogue.
