Editoral Review

Death Angel by Linda Howard is a gripping novel that combines elements of romance, thriller, and suspense. The book was first published on July 1st, 2008 and follows the story of a woman named Madelyn who is a trained assassin known as the Death Angel.

Linda Howard is an award-winning romance author who has written over 50 novels. Death Angel is a departure for Howard as it is a darker and more intense novel than her previous works.

The book is set in modern-day America and touches on themes of revenge, love, and morality. The plot of Death Angel is fast-paced and full of twists and turns that keep the reader on the edge of their seat.

The story follows Madelyn, who is hired to assassinate an arms dealer. However, when Madelyn arrives at the target’s location, she finds that there are other assassins there as well.

Madelyn manages to eliminate her targets, but soon discovers that there is a bigger conspiracy underway. Madelyn is a complex and well-developed character.

She is efficient and deadly as an assassin, but she also has a vulnerable side that she hides from the world. Her journey throughout the book is one of self-discovery as she navigates her conflicting emotions and realizes that there is more to life than just killing.

The book takes place in various locations across America, from a small town in Montana to the streets of New York City. The vivid descriptions of these places immerse the reader in the story and add a layer of realism to the narrative.

One of the strengths of Death Angel is Linda Howard’s writing. The prose is crisp and precise, and the dialogue feels natural and realistic.

The pacing of the plot is also well done, with the tension building steadily until the explosive climax. One of the flaws of Death Angel is that some readers might find the plot predictable.

While there are a few surprises, the overall plot structure follows a familiar formula that is common in the thriller genre. Overall, Death Angel is a well-written and engaging novel that will appeal to fans of romantic suspense and thriller novels.

It combines action, suspense, and romance in a way that feels fresh and unique. Linda Howard shows that she can write darker and grittier stories while still maintaining her distinct voice.

I highly recommend Death Angel to anyone who is looking for a thrilling and exciting read. The book is a perfect escape from reality and will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.

I give Death Angel a score of 4.5 out of 5, based on its expertly crafted plot, well-developed characters, and excellent writing.
