Each family denies any wrongdoing, yet they are all trapped in this godless place, with no sun to guide them. But when a terrifying force begins to approach them from the horizon, they realize that they have all made a grave mistake, and that their darkest fears are about to come true.

I Am Behind You by John Ajvide Lindqvist is a thrilling and thought-provoking novel that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. Lindqvist is a Swedish author who is best known for his horror and suspense novels, and this book is no exception.

First published in August 2014, I Am Behind You has received critical acclaim for its unique style and compelling narrative.

The novel takes place in a mysterious location where a group of people wake up to find that they are no longer in their homes. The only thing they have in common is that they all have a white caravan outside their windows.

As they venture outside, they find that they are not alone and that something strange is happening. The story follows the characters as they try to make sense of their situation and find a way back home.

The novel also has a commentary on societal norms and expectations and how they can impact our lives.

One of the strengths of the book is Lindqvist’s ability to create a sense of ambiguity and uncertainty. The reader is never quite sure what is going on or who to trust, which adds to the tension and suspense.

The pacing of the novel is also well-done, with the plot unfolding in a way that keeps the reader engaged from beginning to end.

However, the book is not without its flaws. Some readers may find the ending to be unsatisfying or confusing, and the plot can be convoluted at times.

Additionally, the book is not for the faint of heart, as it contains some scenes of violence and gore.
