About the Author

Laura Joffe Numeroff is a New York Times best-selling author known for her popular children’s books such as “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie,” “What Mommies/Daddies Do Best,” and “Raising a Hero.” She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and is a graduate of Pratt Institute. Growing up as the youngest of three sisters, Laura was exposed to a variety of artistic and literary influences that fueled her passion for writing.
