Overview

Listed by Noelle Adams is a heart-warming story of a marriage of convenience that takes an unexpected turn. Emily, a young woman with only a few months left to live, has a bucket list to complete before she dies.

The first item, “Get married,” seems impossible until she turns to Paul, a wealthy but troubled man she has known for years. Paul agrees to her unconventional proposal, becoming Emily’s husband for her last three months.

In return, Emily will testify against his father, who is being brought up on federal charges. As they work together to complete her bucket list, they both realize that their arrangement is not as simple as they thought.

With each passing day, their feelings for one another grow stronger, making them question the rules they have set for themselves. But with time running out, can love truly conquer all?

About the Author

When Noelle was just twelve years old, she wrote her very first romance novel by hand in a simple spiral-bound notebook. Since that time, writing has remained her passion, and she hasn’t stopped putting pen to paper.

Noelle has moved around frequently and has called eight different states home, but she now resides in Virginia. There, she teaches English, devours any book she can get her hands on, and spoils her beloved cocker spaniel.

Noelle has many interests, including travel, art, history, and ice cream. After spending what felt like an eternity in graduate school, she’s made the decision to change her priorities and concentrate on writing contemporary romances.

Editoral Review

Listed by Noelle Adams is a contemporary romance novel that was first published on March 1, 2013. Noelle Adams is a prolific writer and has written numerous books across genres.

In Listed, she brings her expert storytelling skills to the genre of romance. The novel centers around the characters of Emma and Brad, who are coworkers in a small town in Pennsylvania.

Emma is a librarian who is devoted to her job and takes pleasure in helping others. Brad is a contractor who has recently moved to town and is looking to start his own construction company.

The two are brought together when Brad is hired to help renovate the library, and their relationship blossoms from there. The novel is set in a small town in Pennsylvania, and Adams does an excellent job of capturing the sense of community that exists in such a place.

She also explores themes of family, loyalty, and love, and how these values can be tested and strengthened by the challenges of daily life. Adams is a skilled writer, and her prose is both engaging and evocative.

She has a talent for creating characters that are complex and multifaceted, and her descriptions of the setting and the relationships between characters are both vivid and nuanced. That being said, the novel is not without its flaws.

The pacing can be uneven at times, and some of the conflicts between characters feel contrived or underdeveloped. Additionally, the novel adheres closely to the conventions of the romance genre, which may limit its appeal to readers who are looking for more experimental or challenging works.

Overall, however, Listed is a compelling and enjoyable read that will resonate with fans of the romance genre. Adams’ skillful writing and engaging characters make it a worthwhile addition to any reader’s bookshelf.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading romance novels, particularly those who are looking for stories that explore themes of family and community. There is no doubt that this is a well-crafted and satisfying novel that is worth your time.
