About the Author

Meet Emma Carr, a Pacific Northwest resident who shares her home with her husband, son, and a Scottish terrier that loves to howl, snuggle, and lead the way on walks. Emma has always been an avid reader of romance novels, but becoming a writer was never on her radar.

However, a few years ago, she decided to leave her stressful marketing career and pursue a career as a marketing professor. Unfortunately, she missed the application deadline and needed to find something to do in the meantime.

Emma suffered from insomnia for years until she discovered that making up stories helped her fall asleep. With a head full of ideas, she decided to write a best-selling romance novel.

To make it happen, she made a deal with her husband to keep the house clean and the kitchen stocked while she wrote. Years later, the house is still a mess, the fridge is always empty, and Emma has yet to pursue her P.H.d.

Despite the chaos, Emma discovered a passion for writing, which her husband supports (except when he’s hungry). Her first published novel, London Falling, was inspired by a trip to London with her husband.

The second book in the series, London Dreaming, is also available.

When Emma isn’t writing, she’s playing tennis, picking up toys, and reading more romance novels.
