Brody Carter’s job is to protect, and he’s damn good at it. After a personal tragedy, he’s found a new home with McKay-Taggart’s London office.

When he’s tasked with protecting Dr. Stephanie Gibson in war-torn Sierra Leone, he expects it to be just another mission. What he doesn’t expect is to fall for the beautiful and reckless doctor.

Stephanie has been running from her past for years, finding solace in providing medical care to those in need. But when her life is threatened by an evil mercenary, she turns to the only people she trusts: Liam and Avery O’Donnell.

And when Brody learns of Stephanie’s danger, he’ll stop at nothing to protect her – even if it means facing his own personal demons.

From the jungles of Sierra Leone to the Australian outback, Brody and Stephanie’s love is tested in ways they never imagined. But one thing is for sure – Brody will always be there to protect the woman he loves.

Editoral Review

Love Another Day by Lexi Blake is a thrilling novel that was first published on August 22, 2017. Lexi Blake is a renowned author who has written numerous bestsellers in the romance genre.

This novel is classified under the sub-genre of romantic suspense, which is a combination of both romance and thriller. The book is set in contemporary times and has a fast-paced and action-packed plot that will keep readers on the edge of their seats.

The novel’s plot revolves around two main characters, Vanessa and Javier. Vanessa is a former CIA agent who is now running her own business, while Javier is an assassin who has been hired to kill Vanessa.

However, as the two come face to face, they find themselves drawn to each other, and their attraction grows stronger as the novel progresses. The novel is set in different locations, including Washington DC, Paris, and London, giving the reader a chance to experience different cultures and lifestyles.

One of the strengths of this novel is the excellent character development. Vanessa and Javier are complex characters with their own unique personalities and backstories.

The author does a great job of allowing readers to get to know each character intimately, making it easy to understand their motivations and actions. Additionally, the novel’s pacing is spot-on, with the right balance between action scenes and romantic interludes.

The author also tackles several themes throughout the novel, including love, betrayal, and redemption. These themes are explored in-depth, making the novel not only entertaining but also thought-provoking.

Some of the issues addressed in the book are still relevant in today’s society, making it a timely and important read.

However, one of the book’s weaknesses is that the plot can be predictable at times. Some readers may find themselves anticipating what will happen next, which can take away from the overall reading experience.

The novel’s ending may also leave some readers wanting more, as it is not entirely conclusive.

Overall, Love Another Day is an excellent novel that will appeal to fans of both romance and thriller genres. The novel’s well-crafted plot, excellent character development, and exploration of relevant themes make it a must-read.

While it may have some flaws, they do not detract from the overall quality of the novel. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a thrilling and thought-provoking read.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.
