About the Author

Hello, I’m Sarah Brianne. I’ve been listening to the characters in my head for twenty-two years, and they finally convinced me to start writing their stories.

When I was a little girl, I loved chick flicks, but as I grew older, I discovered the wonderful world of romance novels. For me, there’s nothing better than a story about true love, and these are the stories that inspire me to write.

I’ve put my own unique spin on the classic tale of two lovers who are meant to be together.

Thanks for reading!

Editoral Review

Lucca is an enthralling novel of the underworld, written by Sarah Brianne and published on January 31, 2017. The book falls into the romance/mystery genre and is a standalone novel.

Sarah Briannes previous works include the Maddox Brothers Series and the Chicago Syndicate Series. The story of Lucca follows an Italian mafia boss, Lucca, who is notorious for his mercilessness and manipulative nature.

The novel takes place in Chicago, where Lucca has established himself as a powerful figure among the citys criminal organizations. He is introduced to the protagonist of the novel, Chloe, through a volatile situation in the first chapter.

Lucca and Chloes relationship escalates, and the two become embroiled in a dangerous game of trust and deception. Their connection, however, becomes genuine, and the two struggle to balance their personal feelings with their conflicting allegiances.

Sarah Brianne does an excellent job of setting the scene for Lucca, creating a dark and inherently suspenseful story that keeps the reader engaged throughout. Her writing is easy to follow, vivid, and imaginative, which helps with the world-building and character development.

Brianne is masterful at writing characters with depth, and Lucca and Chloe are two prime examples. Lucca is a complex character with a complicated past, which is carefully unravelled throughout the novel, while Chloe, on the other hand, is a refreshingly strong and capable female character.

The strength of Lucca lies in its intricate plot and character development, as well as the authors ability to convey emotions and evoke suspense. Nevertheless, the pacing of the plot drags in some parts of the narrative.

Toward the middle of the book, there is a distinct slowdown in the storys momentum, which may cause readers to lose momentum as well. If Sarah Brianne had shaved off a few pacing-dragging chapters from the middle section of the book, the plot would have remained just as exciting.

Overall, Lucca is an excellent read for fans of the romance/mystery genre, with its sophisticated plot, strong character development, and captivating narrative. The book is recommended for individuals looking for an enthralling, pulse-pumping story of love and betrayal set in the criminal underworld.

The novels powerful themes and revelations of the human character may assist readers in understanding current events or issues. As a result, we rate Sarah Briannes Lucca with four out of five stars.
