About the Author

Masashi Kishimoto is a renowned manga artist from Japan, best known for creating the popular manga series called Naruto. Interestingly, his twin brother Seishi Kishimoto is also a manga artist, and has created two manga series named O-Parts Hunter (666 Satan) and Blazer Drive.

Even two of Kishimoto’s former assistants, Osamu Kajisa (Tattoo Hearts) and Yuuichi Itakura (Hand’s), have enjoyed moderate success in their own right after working on Naruto.

Kishimoto’s journey as a manga artist began with his submission of Karakuri (カラクリ?) to Shueisha in 1995. This submission won him the “Hop Step Award” in the Monthly Weekly Shōnen Jump in 1996, an award given to promising new manga artists.

The following year, in 1997, he published a pilot version of Naruto (NARUTO-ナルト-) in Akamaru Jump Summer. In 1998, Kishimoto started publishing a serialized version of Karakuri in the Weekly Shōnen Jump, but unfortunately, it failed to gain popularity and was canceled soon after.

However, in 1999, Kishimoto’s serialized version of Naruto began publication in the Weekly Shōnen Jump and quickly became a huge hit.

Editoral Review

Masashi Kishimotos Naruto, Vol. 03: Dreams is the third installment in the action-packed manga series, introducing readers to a new set of challenges for the lovable ninja, Naruto Uzumaki.

As with previous volumes, Kishimotos writing is both accessible and captivating, drawing readers into the world of ninjas and their quest for power, recognition, and redemption. Set in the hidden village of Konoha, Naruto, Vol.

03: Dreams continues to explore the themes of ambition, rivalry, and loyalty that have made the series so popular with fans worldwide. In this volume, Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke are tasked with a new mission to retrieve a dangerous scroll that some of their fellow classmates have already failed to obtain.

The stakes are high, as the team must dodge traps, fight off attackers, and overcome their own internal struggles in order to succeed. What sets Naruto, Vol.

03: Dreams apart from other manga series is Kishimotos ability to create complex, multifaceted characters that readers can root for or against. Naruto himself is a scrappy underdog with a heart of gold, and readers cant help but cheer him on as he grows stronger and more skilled with each adventure.

Sakura, his teammate and rival for Sasukes affections, is a welcome addition to the series, providing a strong female presence and serving as a foil to Narutos more reckless behavior. And Sasuke, the brooding lone wolf, continues to intrigue readers with his mysterious past and his unrelenting quest for power.

Kishimotos art style is as impressive as ever in this volume, with dynamic action scenes that leap off the page and fluid character designs that capture the spirit of each character. His pacing is also spot-on, with just the right amount of tension and humor to keep readers engaged from beginning to end.

That being said, Naruto, Vol. 03: Dreams is not without its flaws.

Some readers may find the story formulaic or predictable, and the dialogue can be clunky at times. Additionally, while the series is accessible to readers of all ages, some of the more violent scenes may be too intense for younger readers.

Overall, Naruto, Vol. 03: Dreams is a worthy addition to the series, building on the strengths of previous volumes while introducing new characters and plot twists that will leave readers anxious for more.

Fans of shonen manga and action-adventure stories will find plenty to enjoy here, as will anyone looking for a compelling story with memorable characters and beautiful art.
