Editoral Review

Nightwalker by Heather Graham is a thrilling and suspenseful novel that will have readers on the edge of their seats. Graham has established herself as a bestselling author, with many of her works falling into the romantic suspense genre.

This book, first published on March 31, 2009, is a prime example of her ability to capture readers’ attention and hold it until the very last page. The book follows two main characters, Devlin and Callie.

Devlin is a detective who is dedicated to his job and the safety of his city. Callie is a psychologist who has been brought in to help with a case of a serial killer who preys on women walking alone at night.

Together, they must work to solve the case while navigating their own personal demons and desires. The setting of Nightwalker is one of its strengths, as Graham paints a vivid picture of the city of Boston.

Her descriptions of the city and its landmarks make readers feel as though they are walking alongside the characters. Additionally, the pacing of the book is superb, with each chapter ending in a cliffhanger that leaves readers eager to continue reading.

Graham’s character development is also a standout feature of the book. Both Devlin and Callie are complex characters that are relatable and likable despite their flaws.

The themes of trust, fear, and redemption are woven throughout the book, giving readers something to think about long after they finish reading. One potential weakness of the book is that the identity of the killer may be predictable to some readers.

However, Graham’s writing skillfully builds tension and suspense, making even those who can guess the killer’s identity feel uneasy and anxious. Overall, Nightwalker is an excellent choice for readers who enjoy romantic suspense novels set in urban environments.

Graham’s writing is engaging and captivating, and the book is sure to keep readers entertained from start to finish. It is worth noting that the book does contain some mature content, so it may not be suitable for all readers.

In conclusion, I highly recommend Nightwalker by Heather Graham. It is a well-written and entertaining novel that offers something for readers of many different genres.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this book an 8 for its strong characters, gripping plot, and expertly crafted setting.
