About the Author

I was born and raised in the Central Valley of California, and that is where I met my husband, back when we were both still in high school. We got married a few years later and moved around a bit while he was in the US Coast Guard, living in Oregon for a while before settling down in Hill Country, Texas for eight years.

But now, we’ve made the big move to East Texas and are enjoying our time here with our two teenage sons. We love attending all their events and cheering them on from the stands, especially when they’re swimming their hearts out!

Editoral Review

Owned by the Badman by Hayley Faiman is a captivating romance novel that takes readers on a thrilling journey of love and survival in the criminal underworld. Faiman is a talented writer who has written several books in the romance genre, and this book showcases her skillful storytelling abilities.

The book was first published on January 13, 2016, and has since been celebrated as one of the most popular novels in the romance genre. The book tells the story of Sofia, a young college student who falls in love with a notorious badman named Alexander.

Sofia is a naive girl who has never been exposed to the criminal world and is unaware of the dangers that lurk there. Alexander is a hardened criminal who is feared by many and has a reputation for being ruthless.

However, he finds himself inexplicably drawn to Sofia’s innocence and beauty, and the two fall in love against all odds. The romance between Sofia and Alexander forms the backbone of the story, but the book also delves into the complex dynamics of the criminal underworld.

Faiman creates a vivid setting that is both dangerous and alluring, and the reader is constantly on edge as the characters navigate their way through this treacherous world. Faiman is not afraid to explore the darker side of human relationships and portrays them with raw intensity.

The characters are flawed and complex, and the reader is left questioning their motives and actions. Sofia and Alexander are both well-developed characters who evolve throughout the book, and the reader is invested in their journey.

The book is not without its flaws, however. The pacing can be slow at times, and there are moments where the plot feels predictable.

Additionally, some readers may find the depiction of the criminal underworld too gritty and violent. Overall, Owned by the Badman is a well-written and engaging novel that will appeal to fans of the romance genre.

Faiman’s writing is lyrical and evocative, and she creates a world that is both captivating and dangerous. The book is sure to appeal to readers who are looking for a thrilling romance that will keep them on the edge of their seats.
