About the Author
Hey there! I’m a writer with a passion for contemporary and paranormal YA genres. I’m also dabbling in some adult paranormal at the moment.
Yep, they’re all romances!
I hail from Austria, and I’m a pretty chill girl who’s up for anything fun. I didn’t really choose to grow up in Vienna, my parents made that decision when I was just four years old, and I hated the city.
So, as soon as I graduated, I moved back to Upper Austria where I settled down with a lovely husband and, of course, my trusty laptop.
I’ve been crafting stories for as long as I can remember, with wild and exotic fantasies dating back to my kindergarten days. My teacher wasn’t impressed and called me a liar, but I like to think it was the start of my writing career.
People always told me that you couldn’t make a living as an author, so when my first novella PLAY WITH ME shot straight to the stars within the first week, I was totally shocked. It took me a while to understand what was happening, but I was thrilled.
On a personal note, I met the love of my life when I was seventeen, but he was a bit of a playboy, and I wasn’t interested in being his next trophy. It took him four years of fighting for me before I finally gave in and gave our relationship a chance.
We’re now married, and we have an eleven-year-old son. We love to travel, although I sometimes miss my laptop and the many stories waiting inside it.
Unless we’re in Disneyland, of course. Who doesn’t love Disneyland?

Piper Shelly is a pseudonym of US author Tina Folsom, who has written several bestselling paranormal romance series. In T is For He’s a Total Jerk…, Shelly ventures into the familiar story of a teenage girl falling in love with the popular guy at school, but adds a twist of her own.
The story follows the protagonist, Tess Nichols, who is new in town and immediately drawn to the star quarterback, Dylan McBride. It doesn’t take long for Tess to realize that Dylan is a total jerk and the complete opposite of what she imagined him to be.
However, as she gets to know him better, she realizes that Dylan is more than what meets the eye. The two of them get closer, but their relationship is threatened by the disapproval of Dylan’s dad, who is the football coach and has his mind set on Dylan’s career as a college athlete.
Shelly’s writing style is engaging, witty, and easy to follow. She creates well-developed characters that are relatable to the target audience of the book.
Tess is a strong and determined protagonist, while Dylan is a charming and complex character that has layers to his personality. The romance between Tess and Dylan is tumultuous, making for an exciting and emotional read.
Furthermore, T is For He’s a Total Jerk… touches on themes such as first love, peer pressure, and parental expectations, which will resonate with readers going through similar situations.
