About the Author
Bentley Little writes horror novels and is an American author. He was discovered by Dean Koontz.
Little’s mother attended the world premiere of Psycho one month before his birth. In 1990, Little published his first novel, The Revelation, with St. Martin’s Press.
Stephen King became a vocal fan of Little’s work after reading it, and Little won the Bram Stoker Award for “Best First Novel” that same year. Little’s next two novels were published by New American Library, but he was dropped from the company after refusing to write a police procedural as his next novel.
He eventually returned to New American Library and continues to publish his novels with them.
Little considers himself a horror novelist and writes within the horror genre, not “suspense” or “dark fantasy.” He openly supports horror fiction and is often described as a disciple of Stephen King.
