Editoral Review

In “The Ghost,” Jessica Gadziala delivers yet another thrilling book in her extensive romance catalog. The novel, first published on April 18, 2018, follows the story of Rayla, a tough and independent motorcycle club member, and Bryce, a man with a complicated past who seeks refuge in Rayla’s town.

As with most romance novels, the genre centers around the blossoming romance between the two main characters. Rayla and Bryce have undeniable chemistry and their relationship builds throughout the novel.

However, unlike typical romance novels, “The Ghost” also tackles darker themes of grief and revenge, adding depth to the characters and the overall story. Gadziala’s writing style is concise and to the point, making for a quick and enjoyable read.

Her characters are well-developed, with each having their own unique personality and backstory. The setting, a small town overrun by a violent motorcycle club, adds to the gritty and intense atmosphere of the novel.

While “The Ghost” may not have the cultural or historical significance of other novels, it does address societal issues such as grief and revenge, which remain relevant in today’s world. Additionally, the novel is empowering for women, with Rayla being a strong and independent character in a male-dominated world.

Despite the strengths of the novel, there are some limitations. The pacing of the book is fast, jumping from scene to scene without much time for the reader to fully process events.

Additionally, the ending may feel rushed for some readers. Overall, “The Ghost” is a thrilling and engaging book that delivers on both romance and action.

Gadziala is a skilled writer whose characters and setting come to life on the page. While the book may not be for everyone, it is sure to appeal to fans of motorcycle club romance novels.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars.
