Editoral Review

The Sorcerer’s Ascension by Brock E. Deskins is an enthralling fantasy novel that will captivate fans of the genre.

Deskins is a talented author who has managed to create a compelling and fascinating world, filled with magic, danger, and adventure. The book was first published on October 1, 2011.

The novel is set in a world where magic is real and powerful sorcerers wield it for their own gain. The main character, Aaron, is a young man who discovers that he has magical abilities, and he sets out to master them.

Along the way, he meets other sorcerers, who become his friends and allies, as well as enemies who seek to destroy him. Deskins has created a rich and complex world that is both imaginative and believable.

The setting is vividly described, and the readers will feel like they are right in the middle of the action. The characters are well-rounded and engaging, each with their own unique personalities and motivations.

The strength of the book lies in its world-building and character development. Deskins has created a rich and detailed world that is full of nuance and complexity.

Each character, whether good or bad, is given depth and dimension, making them feel like real people rather than just archetypes. The pacing is also excellent, with the story moving at a brisk pace without ever feeling rushed.

The plot is suspenseful and thrilling, with plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader on the edge of their seat. However, the book is not without flaws.

The writing, while generally solid, can be somewhat clumsy at times. The dialogue, in particular, can be a bit stilted and unnatural.

Additionally, while the characters are well-developed, the overarching themes of the book are somewhat thin, and the book lacks the depth and complexity that some readers may be looking for. Overall, The Sorcerer’s Ascension is a compelling fantasy novel that will appeal to fans of the genre.

While it is not perfect, the book is a strong debut from a talented author. Readers who are looking for an exciting adventure into a fantastical world will not be disappointed.
