About the Author
Sheri Stewart Tepper was a talented American author who wrote a variety of books in the science fiction, horror, and mystery genres. She was especially known for her feminist science fiction writing, which often had a focus on ecofeminism.
Born near Littleton, Colorado, Tepper spent much of her career (1962-1986) working for Rocky Mountain Planned Parenthood. She eventually became the organization’s Executive Director.
She has a family including two children and is married to Gene Tepper. In addition to her writing, she also ran a guest ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Tepper used several different pen names throughout her career, including B.J. Oliphant, A.J. Orde, and E.E. Horlak. Her early works were published under the name Sheri S.
Eberhart.
