Editoral Review

Their Virgin Hostage by Shayla Black is a steamy romance novel that was first published on June 24, 2013. As a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of over 50 novels, Shayla Black brings a sophisticated style and intense eroticism to the romance genre.

Their Virgin Hostage follows three alpha male brothers as they save a beautiful woman from a kidnapping, but end up falling in love with her. The novel is set in the rugged mountains of Colorado, where the story follows brothers Taggert, Seth, and Liam as they rescue their friends sister, Callie, from the clutches of a dangerous gang.

As they work to keep her safe, they find themselves drawn to her irresistible beauty and fierce spirit. As the relationship between Cali and each of the brothers grows, the men find themselves battling for her heart, and each others approval.

Their Virgin Hostage is a classic romance novel that does exactly what it sets out to do. The writing is engaging and the character development is on-point.

Black does an incredible job of creating strong, distinct characters that readers will immediately connect with. Each of the brothers is unique and has their own distinct personality quirks, making them interesting and memorable.

Black also does an excellent job of creating a vivid setting. The beautiful and dangerous mountains of Colorado are described in detail, making the story feel more real and immersive.

Readers will feel like they are right alongside the characters, experiencing the danger and the desire firsthand. Although the novel is primarily a love story, Black also touches on some heavier themes, such as the dangers of human trafficking, and the strength and resilience of the human spirit.

These themes add depth and weight to the story, elevating it beyond a simple romance novel. While there are certainly some aspects of the novel that could be improved, such as the rather predictable plot and some shallow character development, these points are minor and do not detract from the overall enjoyment of the book.

Overall, Their Virgin Hostage is a fantastic romance novel that is sure to please fans of the genre. With its engaging characters, fast pace, and steamy love scenes, readers will find themselves turning the pages late into the night.

Blacks writing is top-notch, and she expertly weaves together romance, suspense, and action. This is a book that will leave readers satisfied, and eager for more.

Based on the quality of the book, I would give Their Virgin Hostage a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. While it is not a perfect book, it is a very good one, and is definitely worth checking out.

Fans of steamy romance novels, in particular, will find a lot to love here.
