Editoral Review

What I Need by J. Daniels is a must-read for fans of steamy romance novels.

Published on March 5, 2017, the book tells the story of Sully and Stitch, two characters who have been through their fair share of heartbreak and are hesitant to trust again. Set in the small town of Cunningham Falls, the characters are vividly portrayed in a setting that is both cozy and inviting.

The chemistry between Sully and Stitch is sizzling and will leave readers hot under the collar. However, the author does not rely solely on this aspect of the story to carry the plot.

Instead, she creates a layered narrative that touches on themes of self-discovery, acceptance, and the power of forgiveness. Daniels’ writing style is snappy and engaging.

Her witty dialogue adds a level of levity to the story that prevents it from becoming too heavy. Her descriptions of the characters’ emotions are raw and relatable, making it easy for readers to connect with them on an emotional level.

One of the book’s strengths is its pacing. The plot moves along at a brisk pace, never lingering too long in one scene.

The story is full of surprises and twists that will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end. The character development is also noteworthy.

Both Sully and Stitch have complex backstories that are gradually revealed over the course of the novel. It’s satisfying to watch them grow and change as they work through their emotional baggage.

That being said, the book is not without its flaws. Some readers might find the plot to be predictable, and the ending might feel a bit too tidy for some tastes.

However, these quibbles are minor and don’t detract from the overall quality of the book. Overall, What I Need is a highly enjoyable read that will appeal to fans of the romance genre.

It’s a perfect escape from the stress of everyday life, and readers will find themselves rooting for Sully and Stitch’s happily-ever-after. I highly recommend it.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.
