Lily’s characterization is particularly disappointing, given the book’s entire premise is to showcase her growth while she navigates her personal and professional life. Her character journey is undoubtedly more matured than before, but her overall growth and voice do not match her supposed transformation in time.
Overall, Worth Forgiving is a great pick for anyone looking for a fun, light read. Vi Keeland’s writing is smooth, and her ability to draw the reader into a story is impressive.
