About the Author

Alaskan Fury marks the completion of my 15th book, after a winding and arduous journey. The majority of my works, excluding a few early attempts, have remained dormant on my hard drive for 3-6 years while I waited for a well-known editor at a traditional publishing house to take notice of my talent.

Despite the best efforts of my renowned literary agent, my efforts were in vain.

Given my determined nature and perhaps my Alaskan upbringing, I decided to take matters into my own hands and release my books on my own. I’m taking a gamble and leaving the outcome to fate.

If you enjoy my writing, please spread the word to friends and family. Without a massive advertising team, word-of-mouth is my lifeline.

It’s important to note that my books have not been professionally edited. The finished product is the result of several volunteers who have put in countless hours to craft the book in your hands.

I am extremely grateful for their contributions.

Furthermore, I am a prolific writer. I can easily produce six novels a year, or even eight if I stay focused.

During those years spent waiting for recognition, I was frustrated to see my manuscripts pile up because traditional publishers can only accept one or two books per author each year. Now, with my newfound independence, I have an outlet for my creative drive.

Keep an eye out for more books from me! I hope you enjoy them.

Editoral Review

Zero Recall by Sara King is a science fiction novel that explores themes of identity, memory, and humanity. The book was first published on March 12, 2013, and was received with critical acclaim by fans of the genre.

Sara King has written several other science fiction novels, including the popular Legends of the Duskwalker series. The novel is set in a post-apocalyptic world where society has been divided into two classes: those with memories and those without.

The story follows the journey of the main character, Diadem, who wakes up with no memory of her past but discovers that she possesses extraordinary abilities that make her a target for those in power. Along the way, she meets a cast of complex characters, including a cyborg who serves as her ally, an ambitious politician who is determined to capture her, and a group of rebels who are fighting against the oppressive regime.

King’s prose is gripping and atmospheric, drawing the reader deeper into the twisted world that she has created. The pacing of the novel is excellent, with well-timed twists and turns that keep the reader engaged until the last page.

The world-building is also impressive, with a detailed and immersive setting that adds to the sense of danger and unpredictability. One of the strongest aspects of the novel is the character development.

Diadem is a compelling protagonist, and her journey of self-discovery is both heart-wrenching and empowering. The supporting characters are also well-drawn, each with their own motivations and complexities that add depth to the story.

While the novel is primarily a work of science fiction, it touches on themes that are relevant to contemporary society. The idea of memory as a form of power is a thought-provoking concept that raises questions about how society values the individual.

Additionally, the political machinations and power struggles that occur throughout the course of the novel are reminiscent of current political climates, adding an additional layer of significance to the story. While Zero Recall is an excellent book overall, there are a few minor flaws.

Some of the fight scenes are overly descriptive and can become repetitive, and a few of the supporting characters are underdeveloped. However, these issues are minor and do not detract from the overall quality of the novel.

Overall, Zero Recall is a must-read for fans of science fiction and anyone who enjoys thought-provoking stories about identity, memory, and power. King’s writing is superb, and the characters and world that she has created will stay with readers long after they finish the book.

I highly recommend it, and I give it a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars.
