About the Author

Meet Philip Sington, an accomplished novelist and playwright from Cambridge, UK. After studying history at Trinity College, Cambridge, Sington joined forces with mystery writer Gary Humphreys to create six thrilling novels under the pen name Patrick Lynch.

Their collaboration was a hit, with over 1 million copies sold worldwide and even a screen adaptation of their third book, ‘Carriers.’ In addition to their novels, Sington and Humphreys also worked together on the stage play ‘Lip Service,’ which premiered at the Finborough Theatre in London in 2000.

Sington went on to write his first solo novel, ‘Zoia’s Gold,’ which was published in 2005, followed by ‘The Einstein Girl’ in 2009 and ‘The Valley of Unknowing’ in 2012. His work has been translated into an impressive 21 foreign languages.

When he’s not writing, Sington resides in London with his wife, who hails from Germany, and their two children.
