About the Author
Meet David Sedaris, an American humorist and radio contributor who has been nominated for a Grammy Award. He first gained recognition in 1992 after his essay, “SantaLand Diaries,” was broadcasted on National Public Radio.
In 1994, he published his first collection of essays and short stories called Barrel Fever. Since then, he has released four more essay collections, including Naked (1997), Holidays on Ice (1997), Me Talk Pretty One Day (2000), (2004), and (2008), all of which have become New York Times Best Sellers.
To date, his books have collectively sold over seven million copies. Sedaris’ humor is often based on his personal experiences and is self-deprecating in nature.
